Mr. Bowers is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EPS Settlements Group, and has been associated with EPS, and its predecessor company, Kenneth H. Wells and Associates, for over twenty seven years. He is also a Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Financial Settlements (IFS), the parent company of EPS Settlements Group.

Mr. Bowers received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute in 1975 and was further educated at the University of Michigan, graduating with a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering. Following his post-graduate work, he held several Senior Engineering positions with General Motors and later as the Vice President and Controller of a wholesale distribution company.

He was a Principal of Kenneth H. Wells & Associates from 1987 to 1998, prior to the merger of Wells & Associates with TSSC and Benefit Designs to form EPS Settlements Group. In 2001 he led the successful efforts of a group of former owners of those entities to re-acquire the newly combined EPS Settlements Group from its holding company. Since that time he has helped lead the Company through a period of significant growth, and is currently very involved in the parent company’s efforts to develop new settlement products and services to increase the premium potential for each of the IFS related companies and the structured settlement industry as a whole.

Mr. Bowers has used structured settlements to resolve a wide spectrum of personal injury cases over his long career, with specific emphasis on medical malpractice and workers’ compensation claims for a variety of regional and national clients. In the last several years he has been especially active in leadership of important issues for the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA), of which he is a current Board member and a recent past President (2005-2006).
